Maria, also known as Pacha Mamma; a Reiki Master Teacher, Energy healer, and Shaman has been studying and passing on the ancient wisdom of the indigenous people from around the globe.
She has traversed the world to learn from the elders of communities. She has studied energy work with native people from North America, has traveled into the jungles and volcanic mountains of Costa Rica to stay with the Maleku tribe, and journeyed from the Andes to coastal Peru to learn from the natives. Currently she is studying with West African Dagara elders.
During her travels, Maria was initiated into the lineage of the Q’ero shamans with Doñ Francisco. She has studied with the shaman grandmothers Doña Isabel and Doña Olinda, and renowned Andean shaman Doñ Martin Piñedo who passed on the first star seed of Condor wisdom to Maria.
Maria’s most influential achievement has been her role in delivering the wisdom of the ancient shaman people to the modern era through her writings, art work, and teachings.
Maria is an avid volunteer in her community. She lives in Southern New England with her husband and rescues, which include a black Labrador retriever and a Siberian cat.
